Take a breath and give yourself a social media break until early March:
March 9-11: During the period beginning at 12:00 noon, New York time, on March 9 and ending at 3:59:59 p.m., New York time, on March 11, clubs are permitted to contact, and enter into contract negotiations with the certified agents of players who will become unrestricted free agents upon the expiration of their 2025 player contracts at 4:00 p.m., New York time, on March 12. A prospective UFA who is not represented by an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor ("Unrepresented Player") is permitted to communicate directly with a new club's front office officials (excluding the head coach and other members of the club's coaching staff) regarding contract negotiations. The club is responsible for confirming the player's status as an unrepresented player. No prospective unrestricted free agent is permitted to execute a contract with a new club until 4:00 p.m., New York time, on March 11.
March 11: The 2026 League Year and free agency signing period begin at 4:00 p.m., New York time. Trading period for 2026 begins at 4:00 p.m., New York time, after expiration of all 2025 contracts. Clubs will receive a personnel notice that will include all transactions submitted to the League office during the period between 4:00 p.m., New York time, and 11:59:59 p.m., New York time, on March 11.

What? And miss the Shrine game, which is tomorrow, and Senior Bowl practices that start this week? And don't forget the combine. It's not for everybody, but for a few of us, this is the most interesting part of the year.
NFL Draft Files@NFL_DF
I have 17 first-round grades in the 2026 NFL Draft:
1. IND QB Fernando Mendoza
2. ND RB Jeremiyah Love
3. OSU S Caleb Downs
4. OSU LB Sonny Styles
5. OSU LB Arvell Reese
6. MIA ED Rueben Bain Jr.
7. ASU WR Jordyn Tyson
8. MIA OT Francis Mauigoa
9. TEN CB Jermod McCoy
10. USC WR Makai Lemon
11. OSU WR Carnell Tate
12. TTU ED David Bailey
13. LSU CB Mansoor Delane
14. CLEM IDL Peter Woods
15. UTAH OT Spencer Fano
16. ORE TE Kenyon Sadiq
17. UTAH OT Caleb Lomu
Where do the Vikings pick? 18th. LOL. But worry not. Between sliders, reaches and QBs, my guess is that no less than 5 of these guys will be available at 18.

Yep, I totally get it for some that get into the weeds with college players. Probably a year-round footballfest, no time off.

Oh yeah, that will be a shit show on X. I've got FlightAware open on my phone so I get updates when Zygi goes and picks up Joe Burrow.
I think some fans are expecting some BIG moves this offseason.....I don't think that's going to be happening.

I don't know how unhappy Burrow REALLY is in Cincinnati, but one of the problems he alluded to was team culture. Bengals rank nearly last in those surveys, Vikings at the top. And while he didn't call out his defense, he has to be pissed about it. Bengals were bottom 10 last year, 31st the year before, and 31st the year before that. Vikings defense was 3rd in the NFL last year, and the Vikings just made Brian Flores the highest paid DC in the NFL.
In the immortal words of Patti Labelle, "hello, hey Joe, you wanna give it a go?"

I watched Cinci’s last home game, and after that game, a camera focused on him standing there by himself. He was looking up and around the stadium as if he was taking it all in. I remember one speculation leading up to that week, was that he might pull an Andrew Luck and retire early.

I really like Sadiq. Hoping Delane slides somehow. But I actually like someone alot that is not on the list. Brandon Cisse. If we take a CB, I want it to be Cisse at 18

There are some out there that think Cisse is the #1 corner in this class. The competition at cornerback for this crop should be intense. I think right now you can throw that group of Delane, McCoy, Cisse and Terrell into a hat and pick them as to how they'll come off the board
