What a terrible way to end the season if you are Balt...brutal
I thought Rogers still looked pretty, pretty good last night. Especially w/out any wide receivers.
He's so old now, I cant help but think he hangs it up after this season.
Tomlin has been doing it for 19 years now and it wouldnt surprise me if he hung it up too.
I dont know how much of a run the Steelers have in em?

Really dislike both teams, so just tuned in casually and couldn't stop watching, really entertaining game with so much on the line, both teams really gave it their all and it was an amazing 4th quarter. Really too bad with such a great game that either way it was going to come down to a missed kick with the Steelers missing the extra point before the Ravens missed FG. Really should have ended up being an OT game. Kind of brought back memories of the missed FG against the Seahawks in the playoffs, which was much shorter.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if there is talk about Rodgers coming to Minnesota. I am sure Dianna Russini would be all over that lol

I've said this before, but in some ways, it makes a lot of sense. I think the Vikings will want an experienced veteran who can still play, who can mentor, who won't cost a fortune, won't cost draft capital and won't be a long-term threat to JJ McCarthy. Rodgers is probably the only one who fits all of those.

Did you say mentor? Don't think that is in Rodger's makeup. Blame, yell, pout, those all are possibilities, but mentor?
Funny that Jackson took a knee to center the ball and they missed by about that much.

Maybe he's mellowed with age? I know he wouldnt give Love the time of day back in GB.
I think we'd be a top 3 NFC team with Rogers this season, I really do in retrospect.
IMO it all comes down to how convicted the Vikings are in JJM being able to start from the get go in 26. I suspect they feel strongly about him being QB1.
It just a hunch b4 they've even cleaned out their 25 lockers.

In fairness to rogers on the Love front, they needed receivers and other help fix that team, instead they took a QB, I dont know to many in their primes that would have been overly welcoming in that situation.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

You're right. Mentoring is not his strong suit, or any suit in his closet. So let's just say mentor passively. Be the wily veteran whose experience in practice, games and game planning can be a guide for the young QB. I think this one element is why younger, less experienced options like Will Levis might be less likely for us.

Sounds like Will Howard would disagree. Rodgers is in a different place now then he was in Green Bay. He knows time is short and any extended time he gets in the league is a blessing and he's going to be the best teammate possible, even to the young guys who want his job. I'm really shocked we didn't sign him when we had the chance. I understand why, but it was still a shock, and in hindsight it was the wrong call by the organization and I'd still love to know who made that call. It's been alluded to by Judd and a few others that KOC wanted Rodgers and was shut down by the higher-up's (somewhere).

I think he'd rather retire than be a backup.
