ESPN sources: Falcons QB Michael Penix suffered a potentially season-ending knee injury during Sunday’s loss to the Panthers. Penix will be seeking a second opinion, but it is not encouraging.

Another guy the jury is out on.....needs more games.

Damn...hate to read that.

Very likable kid, easy to root for if I was a Birdie fan.

ACL could happen to anyone, but his medicals scared the bejeezus out of me that draft.

For sure. That was his knock coming out. And he'll be 26 years old next May.

Its interesting: Max Brosmer had either one or two serious knee injuries in college. Hadn't heard anything about that before I watched some YouTube video about his college career.

For a few reasons including medical, Penix was the one guy of the top 5 QBs I was very leery of drafting. I'm glad things worked out how they did.

I wonder if Maye, Nix, and Williams are having "talk with God" moments in private, given the number of QBs missing big time this season? When all's said and done, JJM's 5 missed games might barely be any news at all.
We need JJM to season, ASAFP....

hate this for the kid, he is so damn likeable, almost Teddy-esque.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Both penix and Daniels were the 2 QBs I had questions about their durability.

And they're both out.

I don't doubt their talent.
