Titan's QB Will Levis out for 2025, elects to get shoulder surgery
#1
Has some pain in his throwing shoulder that won't go away. KOC University candidate in 2026?

#Titans QB Will Levis will undergo surgery on his throwing shoulder, sources say, ending his 2025 season. Surgery is July 29.

Levis has elected to have the procedure to ensure long-term health, based on medical opinions, one that should help him be ready for the 2026 season.

I would say no.  All indicators where that KOC was a big no in the draft room on Levis.  Maybe that has changed, but I get the feeling KOC won't take just anyone in to the program.  He has a certain type that he looks for.  Daniel Jones was I think what he really wanted this year.  My guess is, Richardson is going to be the target next year if he is out there.

Totally agree. I said the same thing in a thread a few months ago. KOC University isn't going to work for everyone, just those with a specific set of skills (Liam Neeson voice). I think Levis is a quirky dude personality-wise.

I don’t know how many qualifications there are on getting into KOC university. I kind of feel like any QB that’s going to return a comp 3rd/4th rounder probably just gets in. I’m not sure Levis is that guy, but QB’s are just so overvalued.

I don't either, but there are clearly some qualifications.  Let's look at who have (or will) attend KOC University for at least part of the season in the last few years:

Kirko
Nick Mullens
The Passtronaut (Josh Dobbs)
Jaren Hall
Daniel Jones
Sam Darnold
JJM
Brett Rypien
Sam Howell
Max Broxmer

Passtronaut and rookie Jaren Hall didn't pass muster and flunked out of an accelerated KOC QB university.
I think it is overstating the case to say that the KOC QB U works for everyone.

Did Daniel Jones “pass” KOCU or did he “fail”?  We don’t really know.  Neither us nor the Colts have seen him play since he attended, but I don’t think it really matters, because he’s getting us a likely 4th and I don’t think the Colts care that he was coached up here or not.  All I’m saying is that if we think someone else is going to sign Levis for a $15M contract after he sits on the bench for a year for us, and then we get a 4th, KAM is probably going to do that all day every day over Rypien.  That said, I don’t think Levis has that kind of pull.

In an ideal world, we’d bring a guy in, he’d be a stud backup, we’d have 3 solid QB prospects on the roster because KOC trained them up.  In reality, we’re all hoping that no one has to see what QB3 looks like.  We’re just guessing how much their contract will be after sitting on our roster for a year, which is basically us just guessing if some other team will give them a chance to start.
