Eric DeCosta listened to Lamar Jackson.

The Baltimore Ravens announced on Wednesday they have signed former Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander.

NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported that the one-year contract is for $4 million with $2 million in incentives, per a source informed of the deal. The incentive package includes play-time bonuses, Garafolo added: $500,000 each for hitting 35, 40, 45 and 50 percent of team snaps.

The move came a day after Jackson publicly stumped for the Ravens general manager to bring in his former Louisville teammate from 2015-2017.

About what I had predicted he’d sign for. You may now toss any and all laurels my way  Cool

LOL, that’s under what I thought he was worth ($8), and I was on the low end.

Best ability is availability. He just can’t stay on the field.

The Vikings passed on Alexander and Ramsay. I'm happy!

Those incentives for playing at least 35% of the team snaps tells you all you need to know. They consider anything over 1/3 of defensive snaps is a bonus. I don't know how you can plan a defense around this guy, expecting him to not be present to contribute.

The better news? He's out of our division.

Yeah, I was WAY off in what I thought he'd garner for a contract. The market has spoken.....and it says 'meh'.
