The first time I read that I wanted to know how the city put his house up for sale. What authority does the city have to do that? Of course then I realized it should read “the organization and the city.  Put his house up for sale” ahh ha! Now I get it. Made me laugh Greg.

Proper grammar and accuracy are no longer required in social media journalism.

Then again…maybe you did read it right.  Wink

Man, NFL teams do NOT want to pay their RB talent. Mama, don't let your babies grow up to be running backs.

Yep,   short shelf life and relatively easy to replace with at least serviceable level talent for less.  Better off being an elite kicker and play for 20 years,  dont make as much per year,  but dont ruin your body and flame out by mid to late 20s...and apparently you have plenty of time for golf.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Cook's usage has always been strange in Buffalo. One quarter he's the focal point, the next he doesn't touch it. Mix in money differences and this does feel like it has a chance to become a prolonged story in the run-up to real football.

Saquon Barkley gets $20M per. McCaffrey's at $19M. Gibbs will probably push for something similar next off season. So RBs can still get paid if they're elite. Just not sure Cook is quite in that company. There are the guys at the top....and then 30 guys like Cook.

Also, his brother fell off a cliff at just 27 years old. The younger brother turns 26 in September. Same blood. Bills might also be thinking about that.

I think he is so overrated, do not see him as a guy who is a game changer or who can be that RB who you can ride, he is no where in the league that his brother was, he cannot alter the course of the game on one carry like Dalvin could or be the guy defenses have to game plan around, not worth the money that the top RBs are getting. Bills should have taken a RB from this past draft class and moved on. I watch a lot of the Bills and never understood the hype on him.

I guess I don’t really understand why he’d put his home up for sale, when he’s going to have to play the season out. Either they’ll make him play out his contract or they’ll give him a short extension. I guess it’s probably performative. Put it on the market and don’t actually sell it. As someone who only casually follows the AFC teams, I struggle to remember any highlight worthy plays he’s made, not that it would really matter.
