I've just got a feeling this is going to be the Sanders landing spot

Honestly, I’d stick with Rattler and use the 9 for anything else.

Saints are going to make a big swing now, Carr is definitely out. Rough. Draft could get interesting. This wont change their stance on Sanders, they either like him or don't. They won't like him more now. If they start him right out of the gate, they'll ruin him (Sanders).

Not so fast. This is the worst possible scenario for the Saints….
  1. Since everyone now knows they need a QB they have to move up the draft to a spot where another QB needy team can’t jump them
  2. They will lose draft picks (which they can’t afford to) in order to get the player they want. This news makes it more costly.
  3. If this news had not come out, they could have still drafted Sanders (since a few people thought they were out of the QB market)
  4. If this injury was last season they would not only lose draft picks but have to pay Carr who will be in no mood to give them a discount since they drafted his successor and who might be out this season.
All these could have still happened minus point one and the Saints were in control. They just lost all leverage.
I would not be surprised if Carr’s people leaked this news (if they got intel the Saints were going to draft  his successor) especially if they can prove the injury happened last season
Biggest winners: Patriots and Jags. The two teams that don’t need a QB and where you need to be to get one of the “rated” QBs
