What Did You Think Of The Play Mrs Lincoln?
#1

Thankfully he’s been stellar in FA and UDFAs. Hiring KOC was a pretty good move too. Retaining Brez and McCardell were also excellent moves.

But he needs JJ and Turner to pan out, Reichard and Addison to continue to perform at high levels and to nail this draft but good.

Continuing to hit on value FAs appears to be sustainable as he’s excellent at it and the cap will pierce the $300 million barrier next year if not nearly $310 million. But hitting picks is a better and cheaper route.

Replace Grigson with me and MB, feed us nothing but Cheetos and vodka for the next month and we could nail this draft.

Lol, good thread title.

Yup, pretty much what many here have been saying...The previous draft debacles are already a sunk cost loss to the bottom line.

The key is JJ and Turner, more so than even nailing this draft imo.

If they dont pan-out? (which I dont think will happen) the franchise will be set back a long ways - and he'll most likely be escorted out. The buck stops there.

I have a particular set of skills.

I think what also is understated about JJ and Turner is their cap impact. If we hit at those two positions specifically, the 2 highest paid positions, our cap flexibility remains intact for the next 4 years.

I'm boycotting Frito-Lay. How many Cheetos have to die before our president feels pretty? Make it Funyuns and I'm in.

Yah, good point. That doesnt get talked about as much...

And maybe even lumping them together isnt the proper thing to do?

At the end of the day, JJ panning-out is clearly most important.

And the org has done stellar job (on paper) of getting him the best surround - thats on Kwesi.

Do you dip the Cheetos in the vodka or just chase them with it?

Maybe Sticky the Magician could make Ryan Grigson disappear, to a round of vigorous applause from the fans.

As god as my witness I knew you were a Funyuns guy.

How about Rice Krispy treats instead?

I want them unadulterated. I’m a purist.

Just to throw one more into the mix:

if Blackmon IS healed and contributes at/near his potential, that should be worth a tick of forgiveness.
Build on 14-3, take back the NFCN, break the ****ing curse. Simple.

Probably can pencil him in as a starter. There’s potentially another 3 UDFA currently on the roster who will contribute.
