#Steelers HC Mike Tomlin has been the strongest advocate for bringing Aaron Rodgers to Pittsburgh. He wants it to happen. With Rodgers in the building, a deal could come to fruition.

JMO, but I don't see Pittsburgh as some great team to play for. Not this year.

I think they could be really good on offense with Rodgers. Receivers are really good, tight end is good, they've invested a lot of draft capital in their offensive line, and say you throw an Omarion Hampton or Henderson in at running back for them to start or compliment Warren and they'd be cooking. Defense always gives them a chance. Probably the most ideal of the quarterback available teams left.

I would rather play for them than the Giants. That's basically Rodgers two choices if he wants to play.

I'm sure they did their due diligence, they had to...And I'm sure there were varying opinions in that bldg.
I'm at peace with it for now.
Sticky better not be wrong about the kid though...

I'm not.
Would have been a mistake signing Rodgers. Its always fun to read the 'inside the building' sources by all the 'reporters' out there in the big ol' world. "Its 50-50" Dianna Russini said....lmao. They wanted "Darnold" they said.....JJM isn't 'gaining weight' and there's 'questions about his knee' they squawked. There are going to 'wait and possibly revisit' Rodgers they just said.
If KOC wanted ANYTHING to happen, any one of those could and would have. By now. Done deal. But that isn't what has happened, is it? What happened is exactly what O'Connell said was going to happen many MONTHS ago. But that isn't much fun for the Twitterheads and all of those necessary clicks and views necessary to monetize the whole greasy sports cycle. I have zero doubt there were conversations and due diligence, but that's a lot different that what has been said. Rodgers is an enigma, he does his own thing. Nobody will change that.
