Depth, maybe hold down the LT spot till CD is back?

I thought we already had players on roster to do just that though?

DQ is a FA. My guess is Skule is the replacement.

As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announce free agent signings on Wednesday and Thursday, they've lost one of their own.

The Minnesota Vikings have announced the free agent signing of former Buccaneers offensive tackle Justin Skule per Alec Lewis of The Athletic.

Skule appeared in all 17 games for Tampa Bay last season with five starts.

The former Vanderbilt Commodore was a sixth-round draft pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2019 and played 31 games with 12 starts there before tearing his ACL in 2011 and being released in 2022.

He joined the Buccaneers later that same year when he was signed to the practice squad before being elevated to the 53-man roster.

Skule backed up standout offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs most of last season but will now continue his career with a Buccaneers former division rival in Minnesota.

On Thursday, the Bucs announced numerous free agent signings including Anthony Walker, Haason Reddick, Kindle Vildor, Riley Dixon, Greg Gaines, and Anthony Nelson.

We can definitely use competent depth for our OL, I'm all for turning a liability into a strength going forward.
Build on 14-3, take back the NFCN, break the ****ing curse. Simple.

Contrary to signing older players, this guy is young and appears to be on ascending path of production. This is a good get for the Vikings.

Yep and I think they wanted to move on from DQ. Again, not every signing is a starter, the team needs backups as well.

Looks like Hutchinson ate his lunch then he settled.
