Promising young QB and then build around him. Good spot.

No surprise here. Once they completed the ridiculous Rooney Rule requirements to clear the path to hiring Vrabel it was just a matter of time.

What I'm finding interesting: Ben Johnson, a hot commodity, is being hyper selective. Probably could have had a HC job last year. I applaud the guy.....choose carefully. I think he would consider the Bears, but I'm not sure what he thinks of the McCaskeys. Is Caleb Williams already ruined? I don't think so, but I also am not sure what Caleb's ceiling is truly. And is Johnson a QB whisperer or just a good Xs and Os guy?

p.s. On Vrabel: I think he's a really good HC, he's going to be successful in New England IMO.

Vrabel to NE was a no-brainer...

Like PB/Chocolate.

Its what the Vikings should have done with Pete Carroll decades ago when he was young and coming-off Grants staff as a DB coach.

I think Johnson would be a great hire. He's isn the enviable position of being able to be selective about it. Lots of smoldering garbage heap franchises dying for someone with that reputation.
