Jeanty was pedestrian against Penn St D
#1
A quiet 104 yards last night against a Big Boy D...

I still got major respect for the guy (he damn near broke Barry Sanders NCAA record).

But I do wonder if last night might have cost a few teams to pause - at least a little bit?

His linemen were likely outclassed more than he was. Team sports will always lead to superior players being humbled when surrounded by a lesser supporting cast when facing a superior opponent.

Put him behind an OL that is made up of players more commensurate to their defensive peers and I suspect you see a different outcome.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

Penn State definitely game planned around him and was not going to let him beat them, consequently the passing game was there, but Boise was just not strong enough there to take advantage of it. He looks pretty short, he is listed at 5'9", same as what Aaron Jones is listed at, but he does not look nearly as tall as Jones. I would like to see us get a bigger back.

I was hoping the kid would have a showcase game, but too bad for him, it did not happen.
I do believe it will impact his draft position...might even drop him out of the first round.

He was outmatched against a very good defense, but you still saw a couple runs that were special and cements the fact that he's a special player. I think ultimately how he goes in the draft will boil down to pre draft testing and team need. I'd be very surprised if he isn't a top 15 pick in the draft

I read this morning where Aaron Jones really wants to come back to the Vikes next year. I'm good with another 1-year deal, but I'd be surprised if the Vikings don't draft their RBOTF this spring. Another good one below...

LOVE Henderson and would be over the moon to have him a Viking.

Dude is a stud runner, can catch the ball - all you want in a new age RB

To me he's white Ron Dayne.  Stud college RB but doesn't have the explosiveness or agility to be good in the NFL.

I really like him and Kaleb Johnson as Day 2 RBs that will be good RBs in the NFL.  That Hampton kid for UNC is pretty good too.  It's definitely the year to need a RB from the draft, it's deep.

Would love to get Aaron Jones back for 2025 and grab one of these RBs on the 2nd or 3rd round after a trade back in the first round to get more picks.
