Not the most accurate game for Mr. Darnold....
#1
Vikings seemed to be a little hit and miss last night, probably a B- performance but it got the job done. Not sure why Sammy was missing so many guys, but made plays that were enough to beat a bad opponent. Hope O'Neill's knee is going to be ok, would be a big blow. Crowd was fired up. 12 wins.....lmao. What a fun year. Let's keep it going as some seeding games for the playoffs await the team the next 3 weeks. The season is a resounding success regardless of how it ends in the playoffs, amazing compared to projections for 2024. O'Connell is having fun, you can see it. That shit-eating grin is the 'when a plan comes together' look.

The Bears are going to crush Caleb Williams mentally and physically....and the dude is a little dramatic, lol.

Yep, he was off the mark on most of his passes last night. But I think the mark of a good team is when your QB can have an off day, which happens to all of them, and you still win handily.

Of course it was the Bears, whose QB if off target on the regular.

Why in the world did the Bears go for it on 4th and 1 from their own 39 yard line, on their first possession, on the road, against one of the best teams in the NFL? It's just stupid.

Sometimes you just gotta admit defeat, kick it away and try again next time. This was one of those times. They could've pinned the Vikings deep on their first possession. Instead the Vikings move the ball 4 yards and kick a field goal for the early lead. This set the tone for the game and Chicago never really recovered.

I swear, half of these coaches coach like they're 11 year old boys playing Madden.

Sammie was off some, a couple
Of turnover worthy throws for sure. But he was throwing darts in the first half and jets dropped a beautiful TD pass.

This offense to click needs a dart thrower that will stand in the pocket and take a shot if need be. Sammie has worked that to perfection. It was also nice to see him check down a few time( feels weird typing that)

He was bad off and way late on many throws, if he wasnt in the superior system with better weapons he would not have been the winning QB. Last night was an easy "let him walk" part of his Vikings game tape review at years end.

The crowd was loud early, but many had checked out pretty early, it still got somewhat loud on 3rd downs, but for the most part it really wasnt a loud crowd by Minny standards.

Was pretty awesome to see Carter and Reed carrying the Moss jersey and CC gave an empassioned story of support foe the red cross.

Jones looked really good, our front 7 on D looked slow, weak, and tired. No consistent pressure on Williams, but he really didnt make plays with his legs either. Would have been nice to see him planted a few times early to have set a different tone.

I dont see this team as a legit NFC contender, our run D seems to porous and our O goes missing to much during a game to win in a shootout. Its been a fun season to watch with low expectations, but I still say we are most likely 1 and done in the playoffs, and likely will continue to be until we can control the LOS.
Why isn't Chuck Foreman in the Hall of Fame?

If someone didn't watch the game and just read this, they'd think we lost by 30 lol.

Vikes were solid in the first half and even better in the second. We took care of the football other than the one flukey INT on 4th down and the defense shut the Bears down repeatedly in big spots.

Sam was so-so but as usual this year, clutch when it mattered. He had huge, backbreaking for CHI Defense, 3rd down conversions and we got into the endzone a few times.

The Bears aren't a good team and shot themselves in the foot a lot, but we also smashed em.

Haha I guess. Bears were 2/15 on 3rd and 4th down conversion tries! And ran for 3.9 YPC. And scored 1 borderline garbage time TD. When we beat Jacksonville we looked crummy. This was not that.

Reichard-- Good job, my guy. I hope our Punter is okay.

I kid Jimmy, but he knows he's a curmudgeon. Wink

Vikings didn't play perfectly, but dominated. The game was never, ever in any kind of doubt.

Great throw by Darnold. Even that was a little questionable in that tight window.  He had time to throw it to Powell who was breaking open in the end zone behind Jefferson. They said something about Darnold having a pinkie issue on his throwing hand. I wonder if that was bothering him.
