How's everyone feeling this Sunday morning?
#1
A little worried about the Viking's game tonight? Anxiety over the election Tuesday? Who's going to miss all the political ads Wink ?

Vikings need to right the ship tonight and then have 2 very winnable games against the Jags and Titans. No reason they shouldn't be 8-2 in the next 3 weeks if they are in reality a 'good' team. But will they? Always a question with our beloved Minnesota Vikings. And we all have an extra hour to wait for the verdict.  Tongue

Not happy about the flex schedule on top of a time change.

Flacco doesn’t have the arm he did. That should allow our DBs to play without the fear of being thrown over.

I think this is a bounce-back win tonight...I'll be at the game (and staying up past my bedtime) so they better win.

And yah, elections in this country have gone completely to shit/off the rails.

Same thing with the dogma on both sides of the aisle. Find ways to get things done vs just tossing barbs at each other. There is no reward for compromise anymore.

I have never disliked politicians and the media more than  I do today.  I'm not as sure as others that this election is going to be as close as everyone is saying. I dont trust the polls to forecast things accurately.

I've done my duty and we've cast our votes.

Rant over...

Feeling good about the game tonight. Think we win.

Today is Day 1 of nine straight days of hunting for me. Big bucks beware...

I still believe the Vikings are the best they have been in years. They took the best team in the NFC down to the wire. They had a bad game last week against a team that matched up well against them.
I fully expect them to start stacking some wins the next few weeks, starting tonight.
I feel good, but will be feeling better once election day is over, and the Vikings will be 6-2.

I think the Vikings beat the Jags, Titans, Bears and Cards to go 9-3. So yes they're a "good" team, whatever that means. But I expect them to lose tonight. Hate the matchup. Hate everything about it. And Skol Nation will lose its shit like they always do. People need to remember it's a long season and, win or lose, the reality of the moment is never the enduring reality. IOW, if they lose it doesn't mean they're "pretenders" LOL.

Maybe the Vikings surprise me tonight and Joe Flacco looks every bit of his 39 years. I mean the guy was drafted the same year as John David Booty.

I put a $50 moneyline bet on the Colts, $50 wins $120. Just hedging how I feel about the outcome, a win by the Vikings is worth losing $50.

So explain to me how a 'good' team loses tonight? I've called you a homer before and here it is again. They should win tonight. I'm scared of Joe Flacco at 39 years old if I'm a good team? Please.

If I picked the Vikings I'd be less of a homer? LOL.

Are the Lions a good team? How the hell did they get beat by the Bucs at home? 49ers a good team? How'd they beat by the Cardinals? Who also blew out the Rams 41-10, but lost to the Commanders 42-14. How do the Cowboys get blown out by both the Lions and SAINTS, but beat the Steelers? It's not about the who, it's all about the when...and the matchups.

This your first year watching the NFL? I think you'll enjoy it.

Night home game, I think the team will come out on fire and take control of the game from the start and play a solid game all the way through.
