Here's my short answer: nothing you can do. When I sit and watch a game like this, my logical brain will say 'root for X'.....the game starts and then I find myself subconsciously naturally rooting against whomever as almost like some kind of in-my-fan DNA, ingrained response from the heart. It just comes out. And I just go with it. Like 'I know I should be rooting for Team X, but when a big play happens, I'm rooting against X'. Does that makes sense?
Its like when a friend or your wife says, 'should I order X or Y for dinner?' and I say you know deep down what you want, just order it. Although my wife has FOMO when it comes to choosing her meal when eating out, so its always a tough decision.

It will be an interesting game. Goff outdoors in what looks like rainy conditions is not the same guy, but how will Malik Willis do if Love is out? I'm not rooting for either team but it should be a good watch.

Packers have 7 starters down. And I wouldn't mind a Lions win. Their upcoming schedule is quite a bit tougher than the Packers.

Lions will be in the Superbowl.

Great time for Detroit to play @ Lamblow...
Easy for me to root for the Lions over GB.

Not nice, but my honest response:
after what we went through last season, to the point that we're just now getting our TE1 back and having to replace Darrisaw: I hope they absolutely maul each other. If the pukers take the win, fine, I'm still convinced we'll take them at home. The kittens only beat us by 2, I'm really not worried about that rematch, either, the coaches just need to get us acting more than reacting, again.
LET'S WREAK SOME FUGGIN' HAVOK, VIKINGS!!! SKOL!!!
