Anyone else starting to wonder about that contract?
I am... It could be telling if he shows to any of the camps before TC.

Contracts for players you want to resign almost always take as long as possible before an agreement is reached. I wouldn’t anticipate a contract much before training camp and possibly much before the regular season. There’s just no risk to anyone to do it earlier. The teams risk is that JJ misses training camp and underperforms. JJ’s risk is that he gets injured before signing the contract, so he’ll holdout of practice until he’s signed. It most likely will come down to how much the team is worried about JJ being at TC on whether we resign him sooner or later.

I saw one sports bobblehead state that he would get signed on or by his mid-June birthday.

Jefferson also didn't participate in the earlier portion of the Vikings' offseason program, which, like OTAs, is voluntary. Last month, during the NFL draft, general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah said the team and Jefferson were making progress on a deal, although the sides paused talks during the draft. The Vikings and Jefferson have been discussing terms of the deal for more than a year. Adofo-Mensah said previously that they got "unbelievably close" to a deal last summer before tabling the talks at the start of the 2023 regular season. Jefferson also missed all of the Vikings' 2023 voluntary workouts before reporting for mandatory minicamp as he worked through negotiations. Last month, Philadelphia Eagles receiver A.J. Brown agreed to a three-year, $96 million extension that included $84 million guaranteed, his agent told Schefter. The $32 million average annual value of the extension and the $84 million guaranteed represented new highs for a wide receiver contract. Last season, Jefferson was leading the NFL in receiving yards (543) when he suffered a right hamstring injury in Week 5. After returning for good in Week 15, he amassed 476 receiving yards, the second-highest total in the league over that period. All told, he caught 68 passes for 1,074 yards in parts of 10 games, joining Jim Benton (1945) and Wes Chandler (1982) as the only players to hit that milestone in a season of 10 or fewer games. Jefferson, the 2023 Offensive Player of the Year when he led the NFL with 128 receptions and 1,809 yards receiving, has surpassed 1,000 yards receiving in each of his four seasons. His average of 98.3 yards per game is the highest in NFL history -- for any career span. He is set to play this season on the fifth-year option in his rookie contract, worth $19.743 million, fully guaranteed. My approach is any non-mandatory activities missed is a big nothing. He didn't attend OTA's last year but click bait articles leave that out. If he skips more than the first few days of camp I'll consider being concerned.

Not worried at all. KAM doesn't want another "F". Neither can he afford it. JJ is a lock to be signed!

Jefferson has the same agent, Brian Ayrault, as has 49ers linebacker Nick Bosa, who sat out voluntary and mandatory workouts last season before agreeing to a $170 million ($122.5 million guaranteed), five-year contract last Sept. 6. Ayrault also represents Bengals QB Joe Burrow, who waited until Sept. 7 to get a $275 million, five-year deal with $219 guaranteed. Burrow’s deal averages $55 million a season.

Not sure I'd read anything into OTA's which vets/stars league wide skip. OTA's are glorified walk throughs in shorts, tees and helmets. They're designed mostly for rookies and new players to walk through the base packages. Safe to say JJ knows the base packages.
