Certainly not the generational talent he was sold as. Gotta hope thats the case for the Bears as well as they get the next generational tallent in Williams.

I dont know that Williams will be the first QB taken,   his 23 campaign was less than awe inspiring.  I saw 3 or 4 of his games and never came away super impressed with his game.

Of the 5 QBs drafted in 2021, Lance is the only one in the 2023 playoffs.

-As a back up on a team that didn't draft him.

Wow that's rough.

Trevor Lawrence was as “can’t miss” as a QB prospect gets…

Proof that finding a Good/great QB in the draft is a complete crapshoot and almost totally based on luck.

I don't think this can be argued to a high degree. Can Minnesota get some luck in that department please?

Here's the deal with Lawrence, he's been gutting it out thru injuries the last half of the season trying to get his team to the playoffs.  He had a high ankle sprain (typically a 4-6 week injury) in what like Week 13 and never missed a game, then had a sprained shoulder, missed one game and then was playing with that.  I think he's a franchise guy.
