Coaching
#1
Ok for all those peeps that think the Vikings should start over with a new coach, who you got? I don't think a coaching change is it but I'm just curious

KOC is doing just fine. This year is a mulligan with the revolving door at QB and other team injuries.

How is he doing just fine?  He gets a pass this year due to the QB play but this team started out 1-4 with no injuries.  The team is one of the worst in regards of turnovers.  We haven't seen a lot of player and coach development.  This team is woeful in short yardage and red zone situations which is ALL coaching especially with this group of weapons available.

Last night he did Hall no favors in play calling.  After the Saints game, he did Dobbs no favor with play calling.  Cincy was an absolute failure of coaching with the back to back obvious sneaks using bad backed C and QBs, pushed by your smallest WR.  It was a coaching clinic last night, no answers.

I don't know why this guy was hired OTHER THAN he is the 180 degree opposite of Zimmer in that he is nice, approachable, friendly to players, young, and allegedly knows the offense (even though he didn't call the plays in LA).  Just gross especially when you had a proven commodity in the room who could have addressed the issues the team had (weakness in the trenches) in Harbaugh.

He gets one more year and frankly I have zero confidence in him to develop a QB and take this team anywhere.

Please, KOC will never get us to the Superbowl. I seriously doubt he will even win a playoff game. The only thing he has shown is that he has no clue whatsoever.

Make KOC hand over play calling to OC. He needs to concentrate on coaching...

He’s a second year coach who the players love who is 20-13 (0-1 playoffs). Yeah he could be better and his offense has looked mostly lost since Kirk went down. Valid. But 90% of the fanbases in the NFL seem to want their coach fired. So if 90% of the coaches are bums then who are we getting that’s a huge upgrade over KO?

I’m still a big KO fan. Almost no coaches look good without a QB, and we haven’t had one for half the season.

For sure, but that ship's sailed. Doubt either would take an interview here now. So again to OP's question: who we bringing in?
Belichek is available and interesting. Outside of him I don't think there's anyone. This is all moot because the Vikings aren't firing KO but even for arguments sake I just don't think the idea of hiring someone else holds water, unless you're trying to trade the Rams, Niners, Ravens or Chiefs multiple firsts for a coach.
