Defense lost this game
#1
Lot of blame to go around and officiating shares a part as well.  But the game came down to a stop and the defense along with Flores play calling didn't get it done.  With the NFL jury rigging propensity for close game finishes the defense let Wilson off the hook all the way down the field for the game winning score.  WTF was that defense in the end zone?  A     moonball that 2 defenders had more than enough time to make a play on.  I blame Matellsus the most because he didn't even try to make a play on the Wilson Rainbow.  That ball could have been picked more easily than caught.  In the end the defense didn't make a crucial stop in crunch time.  Much different than making stops in NON crunch timee.

There is a lot of blame to go around, I would start with KOC's play calling, the offense's inability to get the ball in the end zone and with 3 timeouts and a minute left there was no excuse to not get into FG range with the Denver air.  However, the defense on the last drive was inexcusable, we played aggressive all game and then suddenly went into prevent mode leaving the entire middle of the field open, anyone could have driven down on us. The play of the game to me was the 3rd and 4 when we rushed only 3 guys and gifted them the first down.

Take your pick, anyone wins the game for us;1. Hit on Dobbs gets called a penalty.2. Metellus picks the ball at end of half.3. Mattison doesn't fumble.4. KOC doesn't go conservative in 2nd half, again.5. Defense doesn't go in prevent on last drive.6. Our DB knocks down the prayer Wilson threw up for grabs for the TD.7. Dobbs is just a little more accurate.

Lol, the offense turns the ball over 3 times and its the defenses fault?  What game did you watch?  5 field goals, a touchdown and a missed two pointer. The defense kicked ass and took names.

Yeah, its the D and somehow the play calling......yet the turnover ratio was -3. And a no call from the refs that somehow now is a 4 game suspension. Fans are going to fan. Too close to the forest. I find them at their best complaining about draft picks that the team didn't make.

No, I get there are definitely circumstances where the angst is real draft-wise. I'm talking more about a fan having a guy they want the team to draft, they don't, they act likes its the worst act they've ever seen a GM do.....then this player a year or two later turns out to be shit but crickets from the fan that wanted him picked, lol.

The deal with fans is they lack perspective. The same crap happens to most teams every NFL Sunday. No game is perfect, there are ebbs and flows. Not every Mahomes pass is accurate or a good decision. Every Viking's play gets scrutinized and microanalyzed.

I remember a guy years ago--he's still around over on Proud's forum--said we had to draft Ryan Sims.  Hall of famer.  Carried on for months about our epic fail, could not shut up about how we could we pass on this generational talent?

Sims was a total bust.  And if you ask him today, he'll deny he ever said any of it.

lol, yep. People hate admitting they are wrong. The Google search has created some Internet PH.Ds on almost every subject. Got their Masters in copy and pasting links.
