Oh, I think we know the pros and cons. I think the board has actually covered them well that last 5-6 days. I don't think anyone is going overboard on what it means long-term. But his athleticism is impressing his teammates big time.

I think the key for Dobbs will be how he responds when things go south. Because they will at some point. Will it snowball or will he be able to bounce back? Running QBs tend to turn into run-only QBs when they get flustered.

I'm also a little curious to see what happens when JJ comes back. Dobbs hasn't really targeted the deeper routes that JJ would typically run--those 30 yard posts and corners.

Yeah, two of the big completions to Addison were a great catch and then luck in the Saints game. TJ has been a huge crutch for him, understandably given his short time in the playbook.

Maybe Dobbs just needed a really good coach and an opportunity to lead. Man, I hope he can keep it up. That 2nd quarter of last week's game was unlike anything I've ever seen from a Viking offense. I want more of that - Skol!
