So I was in Charleston all weekend, just got back a few hours ago. Got to watch the last drive of the game at a restaurant/bar in downtown Charleston. Had no idea what had happened in the game to that point.
  • Didn't realize Jaren Hall had a concussion, hence why Dobbs was in there.
  • Assumed that Hall played poorly and got replaced. Wasn't aware that apparently, he looked good on the drive he was in for.
What a game winning drive. Holy $hit. Sheer athleticism can really be an asset at QB. A Herculean effort by Dobbs. KOC lost his shit celebrating. Lots of love by the team for Dobbs. My guess is he'll be starting again, I think Viking Nation would burn down the Bank if not.

Did anybody else think this might be Josh 2.0 when Dobbs came in..particularly after his early mistakes.  That Freeman game on MNF is something I'll remember for a long, long time.  And he had two weeks to prepare...

I see some criticism of Dobbs here....I don't think he's the Messiah, but I think he could be pretty good with KOC guiding him. I agree with Kurt Warner here. But at the same time, if Dobbs starts this Sunday, looks like hot ass, we'll know for sure.

That throw that Addison somehow reeled in...

I thought it was a tremendous effort on Dobbs part, but with that said it helped playing a very mediocre Falcons team missing some key players (yes we were also). I would not want Dobbs as my starter heading into a playoff game against some of the better teams. Hoping Jaren Hall recovers quickly and we see him back in there soon. To me that's the most important thing going forward is finding out what we have in Jaren Hall to better evaluate the position this offseason.

I was really impressed with Hall, he led us on a great opening drive, made a great read on a long pass to Mattison which was the first time I have seen us throw deep to the back.  Moved around great, real bummer is that the play before he got hurt he just missed hitting TJ on a TD pass on a nice move to avoid pressure otherwise he doesn't get hurt.  Very small sample size, but I would rather see Hall than Dobbs, he just seems to have a cool, calm and poised presence and that makes you feel confident with the ball in his hands.  I know Dobbs just got here and he made some great plays, but was also very erratic and I don't get that same demeanor from him, I think Hall has the higher upside and I think that is what we need in order to actually make some kind of legit run.

First drive, backed up in our own end zone:  3 and out.

Second drive, drove the length of the  field, looked competent, ended up
with a FG.

Super hard to tell with only 2 drives, but I thought he looked
like he had good command of the offense on the second drive, executing plays
like they were supposed to be executed.  Definitely
OK looking.  Didn’t seem overwhelmed in
the limited snaps.  It’d be nice to see
more of him this year to see a little more of what we have.
