I'm in the minority, but I like Waynes and think he's going to be decent.

My sons both ran track vs Waynes and Melvin Gordon, so I'm pretty biased towards both of them...hopefully he starts to outshine Marcus Peters...

I like Waynes a lot too and think he will be more than decent.  Most fans forget that Rhodes didn't really turn into the CB that he is until late in his 3rd year.

I wonder how good of season Trae will need to have to get out of some people's doghouse?  I sure see a lot of negative talk about the kid whenever his name pops up.  He led the team in passes defensed last season and IMO just needs to be a bit more consistent to really take off.

Part of his problem with the fans is the Vikings passing on Pro Bowler Marcus Peters. Few will find solace in fit with system or fit with Zimmer rationale. Not with such a gap in accomplishments to-date.
