I spent years living in SoCal and all my close buddies were Rams or Raiders fans and I was the lone Vikings fan.

Therefore I became "1VikesFan"

My high school maccot is a Brickie, somewhat resembling the Purdue Boilermaker but Purple and gold. From the brickyard in our town from back in the 1860’s. Avatar is my boxer, Marti (RIP) and pug Theo.

From north central Florida. I wasn't thinking that people would think FL= Florida Gators. I actually went to U of Florida in Gainesville. Walked on the football team as QB and was never given a chance by then QBs coach Mike Shanahan. He didn't even give me a chance to throw one football. Oh well, maybe someone told him I was a Vikings fan.

In the late 80s, I started trying to get every Vikings football card. I’m not from Minnesota, and had no idea who Rip Hawkins was. I was born in ‘63, and his last season was ‘65.
I always thought it was a cool football player name, so I decided to use that as my name. I’d been using InVike, since I was from Indiana, but changed within about a year. Probably around ‘99.

BrickVike

Yohan the Brickie is well known in Portage. We lost to them a lot back in the day. Lol

Marched Drum Corps International for the seven time World Class Champions

Santa Clara Vanguard in 1983 - First in prelims / Third in finals,
otherwise I would have a DCI World Champions ring

Picture of the corps crest in the background / horn line in uniform foreground.

Basically my “five minutes of fame” playing for a “half - filled” Orange Bowl

Wife and I a LONG time ago were on vacation in a nice place outside of Seattle.....ordered room service and got a 'StickyBun'.....something about me saying it out loud on the phone in bed caused my wife and I to just bust out laughing. So much we couldn't finish our room service order. So now its a long standing inside joke.

The dog in my sig is a throwback (bigger than standard, around 19 lbs.) Pomeranian named 'Trouble' (rescue). He's a piece of work and generally hilarious.
