Guessing it was because of KOCs familiarity with him when OBJ was on the Rams.  If he still wants a long term deal from some team, don't see us getting involved.  But we might be interested if he wants a 1-yr prove it deal.  Might be beneficial for both sides.

That said, I'd prefer the Vikings use their cap space to get up and coming talent that's entering their prime.

Well we certainly have a need at receiver, so probably just doung due diligence and getting a feel for what he might be asking for
