Was just about to post this. Rumor is its a 5th rounder.....which means teams know the Vikings are going to just release him outright.

What would you do Sticky?  I'd take it.  Frees up some important cap space, plus gives us a wee bit more draft capital, particularly since most likely we are going to release him anyway.

100%. Sad but part of the game and we need that salary moved. KOC went out of his way to say in an interview last week that he's stoked about RB Ty Chandler and his potential.

Wonder if this is the Bills? That would be a later pick in the 5th.

Agree....it's hard to get value for a position in a year where the RB draft class is so good. Was hoping for a 4th, but I'd take a 5th. Use it to draft a back and, assuming Mattison goes elsewhere, go to camp with Chandler, Kene, a draft pick and a couple UDFAs. I think the trend in the NFL is going toward committees anyway. Or just re-sign Mattison if he doesn't get too expensive.

How many times has Wolfson's scoops been accurate.  Take the pick, if there is an offer of one and move on while you can still get something.  He has lost a step and seems to prefer to dance too much behind the line before hitting the hole.  Time for Chandler and fast Kenny to show what they can do.
