Good article on Allen's elbow
#1
Says he'll miss 3ish games based on sound reasoning from things we know so far.  The article is to long to paste the whole thing but worth the read.

I project Josh Allen to miss at least three games as he rehabs from this injury.

This would give him 24 days from the date of injury which is on par with the research showing 26.4 days to return.
The fact that he could still throw a football 70 yards in the air with a
sprained UCL strongly suggests the injury is not as severe as in 2018.

Is that really that big of a mark for pro QB getting a running start at the throw?

how much of that was accuracy vs the receiver just running under the ball.  It was a good throw,  but its not likely he is able to drop them into buckets from that distance with regularity.  the big wow is more likely that his arm is falling off and he was still able to make that throw,  not the distance that some seems to be wowing some people.

Edit,  looking again the receiver had checked up waiting for it and was fighting the defender when the ball arrived.   so basically it wasnt a really accurate throw as much as it was just thrown as far as his ailing arm would allow.

Looks like the Vikes catch a break again.  Sure Allen will be missed throwing the ball, but he also leads the team in rushing too.  There's no way Case can run the offense the way Allen can.  Hopefully the Vikes can shut down the run then get after Case on obvious passing downs.

Agree. Allen has been error-prone the last couple weeks, but he forces a defense to play the whole field. You need to spy him AND you need to play deep. That's not the case with Case. Actually, I think it will be a similar defense to last week.

I haven't watched CK for a couple years,  does he not improvise with his legs as much as he once did?
