It'd be so sweet to see KC and the Vikes light up his former team. Go do it Kirk - Skol!

He’d better, with talk of the Dallas game flexing to prime time, we need to win the games we’re favored in…  Wink

I’m not sure this is really a revenge game.  It’s been too long.  Things are pretty good here, pretty bad
there.  This is more like seeing you ex
after you’ve improved yourself and they’ve continued to degrade and you’re just
glad you got out when you did.

Terrific analogy. And I agree. What's more, I don't think Cousins is the vengeful type. Maybe he should have more of that.

I agree the revenge game will be played down by Kirk, but he was treated like crap there.  Basically the coaches and front office blamed him for the team's problems of not finding success.  I remember Gruden bragging how his team upgraded the QB position after Kirk left and they signed an aging, injured Alex Smith as his replacement.
I wouldn't doubt somewhere hidden deep inside Kirk he has the same emotions that PP didn't hide last week against AZ.  Personally I do believe Kirk will have a little extra motivation to play well and show Washington what they lost.  I'm not expecting something as exciting as the '09 Favre revenge games against the Packers, but maybe a little more fire and emotion to win this one than usual.

Will be interesting to see how Kirk and the team show up this week, this is the type of game that we often have not come out looking prepared and sleep walking through.  I have a feeling the TJ trade was a positive jolt for the team and think KOC will have them fired up for this one.

I dont see why he would be vengeful though, they drafted him,   they paid him an ass load of money,  and he is in a better place now... seems to me he had nothing to be vengeful for.  doesnt mean that winning this game in front of his old fans and team wouldnt be special in itself.

Should we include KOC too?  He was there for three years too.
