Hey J.J., appreciate the nod here but yeah....not sure how you would expect a stadium full of Viking's fans to 'enjoy' a sack against Cousins regardless.

I think he was more talking about his use of the tie down celebration and clarifying its intent as him paying homage to JA and not him being a taunting DBag.  The boos didn't start until the celebration so it really didn't have anything to do with the sack itself IMO.

I understand the fans reaction though in this world of talking shit to ones opponents amd classless actions by everyone,   it was hard in the moment to see somebody being genuine at face value.

Whether it's a receiver copying Cris Carter's first down thing or someone doing the griddy or the skol clap, it's always going to be seen as a mock by fans.

I believe I read that he told JA before he did it that he was going to do it to honor him if he got the chance.

Watt is a pretty classy guy from all accounts.  I have no problem with him honoring JA with that move.  Wouldn't cheer the sack, but respect to him for honoring JA.
