Vikings defense held the Cards to 3 points their last 4 drives...

The D definitely stepped up when they had to.

They seemed to get stronger as the game went on. Totally unlike last year.

I was impressed with the defense today.

Defense played more man today and a little less deep shell coverage. Cards had some penalties to help the D out towards the end. Still a lot of room for improvement, but the D looked better.

We won because of the D not inspite of it today.

Well….. Sort of. If you can’t win with the offense putting up 34 points you got issues. The D gave up 26….

Agree. It wasn't awesome, it wasn't perfect, but I felt like the defense won this game for us.

Closed it out maybe?  Like I felt they set the tone early with some strong play but then Arizona was able to move the ball and get back into it mid game.  But just like the Miami game, the defense got some timely turnovers and preserved the 8 point lead.

I'll say this, as long as they keep getting key stops and being opportunistic...  I'll take that type of defense paired with this offense.
