I hate Bye week
#1
I got my camper trailer winterized...first time and it took studying YouTube videos, the crappy Owners Manual and doing more exploring in hidden pockets to find switches and valves.  Got 'r done.
I got the pine needles swept off my roof (we have numerous mature coniferous trees around the house).  Got the gutters cleaned out.  Yeah, my back hurt.
I got new seat covers installed on my pickup...they've been sitting in a box for about a month.  I had time.
I got my boat put away for the winter...had to take down the tower and got it tucked it inside the barn.
I got my garage swept out.
I made a dump run...we don't have garbage pickup out here, and my driveway is 3/8 mile long anyway.  Fortunately, I'm only a few miles from the county landfill.
I did cheat a bit...I had the Packers / Commanders game on and peeked at it when I came in the house.
But seriously...I can't wait until the season re-commences.

WHAT DID YOU DO ON SUNDAY?

I just watched the red zone and chilled. Now that I sold the house and rent I let the landlord worry about maintenance and yard clean up etc.

I watered 150 little trees and made Tbones the size of my ass ( those were huge steaks )  wanted to do a lot more stuff outside but the wind was stupid strong.

One of our recessed lights was buzzing.... got a ladder, took it all apart, pushed a few of the wires around, made sure the nuts were on tight.....got rid of the the buzz....

until I got up Tuesday morning and it was buzzing louder that before.....even when the light is OFF.

Great job honey

Oh my....T bones are the best.  When we lived in California, we would go boating on the Colorado river / casinos there would serve up the most gorgeous T-bones, with a big ass potato, choice of veggies, salad, desert bar, all for like $12.

I am really starting to love bye week. I spent time outside. I did some writing, painting and research. I spent time with family and friends. I went out for a fantastic meal and had a blast.

Is it bad that I can't remember what I did on Sunday? I may have gotten out of bed. I should make a checklist so when I do get out of bed I can cross it off my list and feel a sense of accomplishment. :-)

I'm the opposite of the OP - the bye came at a perfect time for us/me.

Great weather and tons of prep around the house. I hate not having the outside prepped when the first snow hits. Got the convertible stored too. So now I can concentrate on enjoying the fall, my lab pup etc..
