Kind of surprised by this, watched a vid yesterday where Daniels said the competition would come down to Saturday's performance.

KFAN said the same thing this morning,  I have to wonder if there is more to the story than he simply wasnt as good?  asked to take a pay cut,  or got pissed that he had to compete for his job?

Ryan Wright. 6-3, 245 as if that matters for punters. But it's pretty clear the Vikings didn't need Saturday's "punt-off" to decide their punter. Wright won. Probably also helps Berry catch on with another team.

I assume Wright is now the holder. Any word on how much work he's gotten holding in camp?

maybe Wright is the right man for the job?  for all we know the new found success by Joseph is attributed to working with Wright vs Berry?
