Trying to decide what game to go to this year. As of right now I'm thinking the Cowboy game. It falls on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, just like the Packer game I went to last year.
It'd be nice to see sad Cowboy fans after a Viking win.
Cowboy sadness is a beautiful thing.
Love Minneapolis in October so I'm probably going to try to get to the Chicago game week 5.
Careful about the Cowboy game; they might just start their back-up @ QB again
I ended up buying tix for the Cowboys game. Section 121, 5 rows from the corner end zone. It just made sense logistically. September & October are crazy with weddings and the such. I can take vacation that Thanksgiving week and hopefully enjoy it at the expense of Cowboy tears.
With that being said, hopefully the team will have gelled and taken to the new schemes by then. Should be a fun game.

Wow, you bought tickets already? Did you buy from the Vikings are a reseller? Just curious if it's cheaper to get them early.

Yeah, I bought them early (from the Vikings site via Ticketmaster). I didn't want to wait around and wait. Figured I'd get it out of the way and not worry about anything except getting a flight & hotel.

Just bought mine too. Hotel's reserved as well. Just need to get the flight. Oddly enough, that will be the cheapest part.
Also just found out the Vikings play here in Denver in week 3 of the preseason, so I'll get to see them twice this year. They better be worth it! :-)

Sweet! Did you buy tix to the Chicago game? What hotel are you staying at?

Yep! Best Western Normandy. It's not the newest hotel, and it's a lot more expensive than it should be, but it's a 10 minute walk from US Bank and I've been staying there for over 20 years. It's kind of a tradition.
Light rail station just a couple blocks away. Walking distance to all the bars and restaurants around 1st Ave. It's the perfect location IMO.

I'll have to look into that. We stayed at the Moxy last year, which is a block away from the stadium and not all that expensive. I'm also going to have to look into some more options for bars/restaurants. We did Manny's last year, might want to see what else there is to offer.
