What’s your take on first 2 days?
#1
Cine- enforcer in the back end with great speed, and decent cover skills. should start day 1.

Booth-  Blows up screens. perfect for quarters coverage in this Donatell D. Should see snaps right away if he doesnt beat out Danztler.

Ingram- great in pass pro, just what we need on this IOL. Should start at some point this year.

Asamoah- Should be a starting nickel LB. 4.56 forty

Overall- Seems like a pretty good draft so far. I liked Drake Jackson over Ingram at that spot but if he turns out in pass pro, he is built for what we want to do.

We started the draft with 3 picks in the first two days and ended up with 4 and addressed positions that I thought were all needs. Based on position, I am happy. Hopefully the picks pan out

I think those are solid takes. I like the players (mostly) I am not very happy ith the road we took to get them. Seemed like we did an awful lot to get guys that we could have gotten anyway or in easier fashion. I'm not in love with trading with divisional opponents.

Ingram worries me a little but maybe thats just because Kiper was adamantly against him.

Asamoah seems ridiculously small. We will see how he turns out but I am not sold that he is going to be worth his draft spot.

It's a good start. They definitely addressed needs and got some extra picks. It was a bit of a roller coaster ride but I am looking forward to seeing how things work out.

Well I would have been thrilled with Booth at 32 and Cine at 42 so it doesn't matter the order, I like both players and it is a complete lottery anyway.

No clue about G - Ingram

The last pick - LB - Asamoah looks to be a good pick at 66 and I do think a LB was a need.

So CB, S, G, LB - all good and need positions.

Not thrilled about the Day 1 trade down at all but who cares we got good players.  Also, both trades with division rivals is kind of taboo.

My issue is the trades with division rivals. Never has this happened in the nfl where a team gives up TWO high draft picks to division opponents. if this s how we proceed into future draft days we are doomed. we are literally giving our rivals the players they want to help kick our asses. Im shell shocked

Initially I thought the same. IMO, he’s clearly the guy who doesnt care what you wanna fo. He only cares about what he wants to do. Hope it works

I didn't like the idea of trading with Detroit but I was more mad about Green Bay but it is what it is and they got more mid round picks.

Like Kwesi said they have to play the Vikings.  Trades with division rivals is not a good thing ever but on the other hand maybe the new Vikings will kick their asses.

I have no issue with the players. But the trade downs were horrible. What did they really gain over if they had stayed pat with their own picks? Ed Ingram will go down as a Willie Beavers, Willie Offord type pick. Way better lineman on the board in the late 2nd. He wasnt even ranked in the top 25 of most guard lists I looked at, so it was an epic reach. If a scout loved him he could have been had in the 5th round.
Every year I am amazed watching the Ravens draft. They just sit tight and take good players. There might be something to that......
