Well Za'Darius sure changes the draft strategy

With the news of signing Za'Darius and the dead cap amount for Danielle being $29MM after converting his roster bonus into a signing bonus all but mean CB at #12? Should we still entertain moving down a few spots if Sauce and Stingley are both gone if we can pick up another 2nd rounder this year?

McDuffie's arm length makes me a little nervous, especially at 5'10. I think I'd support trading down a few, draft a CB and then use the second round picks on a G/C, LB, or WR. I'd take a risk on Sam Howell if he drops there too

You must have a lot of faith in our new training staff…  Wink   point being I’m not sure it does…  B)

I still take DL if a stud is there. Vikes will be signing some FA CBs I am sure. Tired of wasting top draft capital on CBs that usually are average at best and gone in a few years. That is what 3 and 4th round CBs are for.

The Smith signing means my prediction for the Vikings at 1.12 is Was CB Trent McDuffie

Unless one of the edge guys slides, maybe due to 3 QB picks in the top 12, you take the guy closer to the ball.

McDuffie would be a great fit. Maybe Ojabo is there in the second.

Haven't been too many corners with arms under 30", but I don't care. I love how he fits, his play style and character. Only corner I'd take ahead of him is Sauce. Like AWF a couple years ago, McDuffie is the safest player in the draft. We need someone who can start right away and that's McDuffie.

I think you do what the Packers did a couple years ago after they signed Preston and Z Smith (took Rashan Gary at 12?)...

If a stud pass rusher falls, you take him. We've seen what this defense looks like without a pass rush.  It's the biggest reason Zimmer's defenses weren't good the past two years.

I wouldn't break my TV. Pass rushers are gold. But with Hunter and Smith and depth like Wonnum, J-Rob and PJ2, I think we'd be fools for ignoring our almost empty corner room.

Andrew Booth, anyone? Not sure why he's not getting as much love as the others. Seems to have what you'd want out of a top flight corner.

He's been unavailable for post season workouts/combine.

Ahhhh, that's right. Wasn't it like a core injury?
