I think Rogers is on record saying he wants to get this done either early, like March.

My sense is he'll be in GB a few more seasons...

Obviously we all want Rodgers out of GB, but I wouldnt mind seeing this happen. Zadarius would be gone along with one or two other big name defensive players. This type of extension could hurt GB for multiple years and I’m all for that

They could gut the team to pay Rodgers or pay Rodgers now and go in to cap hell later because of him.  Rodgers is getting old and more prone to injury so pay him now and go into cap hell because of him.  Fuck the Packers.

“With what money?” is the right answer here. There will be no Adams and they will have to dismantle a portion of the team to get it done. 
As a franchise they are better off moving on. They simply can’t afford to continue down this road. Are they trying to save face with the fans wanting to keep him? Probably.
