My boy Chenal getting love. Sit him next to Kendricks in Donatell's 3-4.

If the rumors about switching to a 3-4 are true, then I have to think that a LB in the first is a possibility. Barr is likely gone. Kendricks could very well be a cap casualty. That leaves Surratt, Dye, Lynch & possibly Connelly (unsure if he's a FA) who mostly has played on STs. I have to think that Lloyd or Dean are a possibility at #12.

If you're going LB in the first then you damn sure better be trading down. I think both of these guys are available in the later teens

LBs are cheaper and easier to find than stud corners or ends ( of course I am think 4-3 DE)  but IMO taking a LB out of need in the first when there are other positions with an equal need with better talent would be a huge reach.  Hell I would rather spend it on OL than to reach at another position.

Both of these guys are very athletic. They're going to show well at the Combine. In a 3-4, you LBs are your playmakers. If you can get the best LB in the class at #12, IMO you make that pick & don't look back.

sounds like the draft if thin at LB this year,  my question is....in a normal draft year for talent at the LB position,  do you take either of these guys at 12?

NFL Network coverage starts next Tuesday. Last two days will have DL/LB and DBs. Should produce some crazy test results.

Edge players will be an excellent watch. Hoping for a 4.5 and change out of Sauce. Probably the only way he makes it to #12. I think McDuffie ends up the guy.
