Guy has been OC and a DC. Every player loves him.

so what happened to the GM first and then the coach,  or is the Trident of Despair just narrowing down the options for the GM they ultimately select... "congratulations, you are the new captain of the SS Vikings,  as your first official act you need to select a new HC.... as long as he is from column A of the pre approved candidates."

Reported the Vikings / Morris interview request first because countless people have texted in support of Morris in last week.

Tomlin, McVay, Kyle Shanahan, Dan Quinn, Ronde Barber and countless others have been vocal on Raheem Morris’s impact on them as coaches and players.

His .356 career coaching win % is less than appealing.

This is probably, hopefully, the worst case scenario.

Maybe the Triad of Tears is just doing their due diligence regarding potential HC candidates to be familiar?

No harm in gathering data, scheduling the interviews.

Bellicheck and Carroll's career coaching numbers on their first runs weren't that inspiring either.   A lot of value in that experience.  Regardless of that, he persisted on to be involved in another Super Bowl run (Tampa 02, Atlanta 16) and could be again.

Knows both sides of the ball and seems to be well revered across the league.

Could do worse than a guy that has been HC before.  Too many genius type coordinators fail at the head coach position.

Just went back and looked at the HC stint he had with the Bucs...what a rollercoaster for him and Josh Freeman. Freeman with an awful rookie season, great second year, then back to terrible the following year. Wonder what the deal was there as I dont remember.
