He should just go back to TV.

His drafts have been really bad. Once Gruden got ousted the writing was on the wall. Fresh start for a young team. Bummer there’s another team in the water trying to steak candidates from MIN.

That entire operation seems to be dysfunctional.  Does anybody really know what they are doing from ownership on down to the now fired coaching staff.

Firing the GM after the team won their last 4 games to make the playoffs doesn't make sense.

If they were planning to whack him all along because of the Gruden link, waiting until 8 days after the season makes no sense.

Now they're behind the Bears/Vikings/Giants for interviewing GM/HC candidates.  Unless they were planning on hiring the HC before the GM, which also wouldn't make sense.

Yup, it's the Raiders.

The Raiders have some talent and just got into the playoffs, its not a bad gig. The owner is a little loopy but he's not an asshole. The big question will be do you move on from Carr or not.

I am not a vegas person myself,  but I know a lot of America does enjoy it,  so when it comes to plum jobs,  a playoff ready team,  in all new facilities, with an owner that is by all accounts pretty easy to work with and willing to spend money,  in americas sand box play ground.... that would have to be viewed by some as the best opening on the market.

Sin City, so you are going to need a strong disciplinarian in that playground with young 20 year olds.  Riggs III is heading to prison (hopefully for a long time) from driving aroung 850mph and killing that 20ish young girl/women.  I read about a week ago another drafted DB (defensive back not dirt bag) was busted for a DUI.  Not trying to be holier than thou but it is just a bad mix for a 20 year old athlete to be based in Vegas.

So, I'm thinking they will need someone like Brian Flores and then also bring in some veteran role models to surround the youth some.

Lastly, I also do not like Vegas at all.  Had around 3 meetings there and went once for fun with the guys during March Madness about 20+ years ago Smile  The guys trip was fun but I am not a big gambler so Vegas has little appeal to me.
