An ugly loss to Green Bay and....
#1
...I think the whole team and coaching staff will get booed into oblivion at U.S. Bank stadium to end the year by the fans. Like ugly style. Sad way to end the Zimmer era and he probably deserves a little better than that but it's undoubtedly time for him to go. I don't dislike the guy and I believe he has some good traits, but the team suffered for his learning curve as a head coach and there are some tricks you can't teach that old dog. There were some talented teams that didn't perform up to that level of talent when it mattered. The buck stops with the HC.

I for one hope that the Wilfs don't stop with one buck,  I think we need a refresh at the GM position as well.  RS has made to many WTF decisions and shouldn't get to skate just because Zimmer is let go.

Has he learned? In 8 years has he grown as a coach? I'm not seeing anything that points to progress.

Hot girlfriend, cool ranch, but...he's well past his expiration date.

I especially don't want RS picking our next coach.  Hopefully the GM is the first hire that has a plan on how to rebuild this team into something worth watching again.

Ugly loss @ GB or not, the stadium may look like this with nothing on the line but how quiet does the 21 season end?

Outside of the bottom line, an owners greatest concern is fan apathy.

Ugly loss at GB, Zimmer shouldn't get to even make the trip back to Minny. I'd have fired him after the Rams game (actually, I'd have fired him after the Detroit game).

I havent been to a game in about 3 years,  heres how bad it is,  I was offered tickets to the bears game and turned them down.  about the only way I can not blow up watching this team anymore is to be totally drunk and even then I am swearing at the TV.  I would go broke trying to get to that level of tolerance/indifference  buying Zygi priced cocktails at USBank stadium.   On the plus side the guy that offered me the bears game has now come back with tickets to a Wild game so i've got that going for me.

The Wilfs are good people. I tend to think they will quietly ask him to retire after the season and he will. Of course he'll be a white hot DC candidate (if not HC candidate) on the market if he decides to stay in the game.

This is what I think will happen as well.  I also think there's a chance he'll take a year off to let the stress unwind.

Agree. Rick is pretty highly rated around the league but I see him in the middle of the pack, decent but upgradable.

His biggest failing is not building this team from the inside out. This game is decided in the trenches and at QB and we are below average in the former and slightly above in the other.
