I like Boyd and he definitely looks to have a bright future

Did Dantzler play that well last year or was he just the best of the worst?  Now that the lights are brighter around him do his flaws become more noticeable as he gets picked on more?

Again, not a fan of PFF, but Tiny's last five starts were top 5ish in their ratings.

Boyd playing well or even better than Dantzler doesn't mean Dantzler
sucks now.  It just means Boyd is playing better.  Both of these guys
will be needed on Sundays.  The fact that neither of these guys are
starters is nice for depth and special teams.

I'm old enough to remember starting a converted WR at CB. Depth is a wonderful thing.

Denny liked offensive players so much he had them playing defense too. Wink

I think the question to ask is whether Dantzler is on the Holton Hill path and, if so, why?

Dantzler hasn't looked good in preseason.  Remember when he bulked up and couldn't run?  And then he shed the weight and ran faster at his Pro Day or whatever?  Seems like he can't play good with additional weight, but gets dinged more when he plays smaller...
