Kerrigan was decidedly in the nice to have category and not need to have. Vikings do still have plenty of money if they do decide to add a player or two.

Eeeh,  I know he would be a nice piece,  but not really a critical need IMO.  If they are going shopping I would rather see DB or maybe another veteran WR.... Fitzgerald anyone?

Don’t hold your breath waiting for the Vikings to sign anyone wanting more than vets minimum. Payroll is 27th out of 32 clubs this year. Wilf’s pinching pennies this year.

LOL,   payroll has a ceiling and a floor,  ya really cant pinch pennies in the NFL.  Besides that cap that doesnt get used rolls over to the next year and you still have to spend it eventually so the only reason they may be not spending to the cap is due to some very demanding contracts on the horizon.

Come June 1st, we're over $14 in cap space. That taking rookie salary into account. 

Not sure we are going to sit on that dough.
