Panthers paying Bridgewater $7 million, Broncos paying him $3 million, per source.

Trade does not take Denver out of QB market Thursday night, per source.

Honestly, surprised it took this long to come together.

I feel for Teddy. He's now basically a journeyman. Who knows how things could have turned out for him if it weren't for that ugly injury.

Definitely hampered his development, but I think this is who he is. Bridge QB. Would love to have him if not for the contract as a backup.

I think he would have been a better QB than what he was this past year but he's made $44MM in his career so far. He will be just fine

Agreed. Although I can only imagine how unruly the fan base would get the second Kirk throws an interception.

I still think he could've been a pretty good QB for us. Definitely not an upper echelon type, but a guy who would do exactly what Zimmer wants. Plus, it would've saved us from the Bradford trade and that lost 2016 season.

44 million doesn't go as far as it used to.
