this... 1000% this,  i can understand being unsure of Wilsons readyness for this year,  but if they were indeed taking him then the decision had already been made on quitting Darnold so why not go grab a bridge veteran and laugh all the way to the bank with the #12 pick?    holy shit its a wonder some of the guys running teams have a job at all,  let alone running billion dollar companies.

It was a swap of #12 for #23. Value wise that is equivalent to a 2nd round pick.
