Good catch! That's disappointing. At least they hit a home run on one of them.

LOL. Again, this is not that unusual. MOST NFL teams are only going to have one, two or three players remaining after their first contract. Cowboys have one remaining from 2017. Seahawks have one. Patriots don’t have any. 49ers have one. And they had TWO 1st rounders that year. Remember, the Vikings didn’t have a 1st rounder that year. Also keep in mind the Vikings one…is Dalvin freaking Cook.

There is also how many are still on other teams. Yes Dalvin Cook is one of a kind. In a league that is high scoring, how much is he worth? The Vikings run first offense has been centered around him and that adds to his value. Also Dalvin has played about 60 percent of his games. How long does he have left? He is fun to watch but we'll see what happens.

Dalvin's only 25. The way his contract is written, he can be released in the final year of his deal with zero dead. He turns 30 that year. Decision time for RBs. We'll see what happens at that point, but no reason to believe he won't remain a big part of this offense over the next four seasons.
