I know it's the same conference, but have always liked Stafford, guys a class act. Hung in there, where some others have walked away, Sanders, Megatron, he took it and was a standup team player. Tough mofo too.

Just the thought of it makes me feel like vomiting. Those two seasons were my least favorite seasons in Viking history. I just could not stand seeing him on our team.

I just hated that 2009 season....,
probably was the best QB play we have ever had in my lifetime as a Viking fan. ( I was after Fran) , SB run seemed inevitable that year but alas, lacking that we shall not lament its loss...

I actually enjoyed seeing him in purple. As much as I hate the packers, I respected Favres moxie, and the fact that him playing for is had cheeseheads exploding made it all worth it IMO for a packers great to wear our colors...and then there was the cowboys playoff game... icing on the cake.
