Same. They may be waiting until they have someone to replace him. It's not like Rudy where his replacement is already on the roster. If we release him now, and we miss on a 3T in free agency, then everyone and his brother knows we'll be drafting one in the first.

Same. Doesn't look like there's an instant impact defender at those positions in the draft. Might as well go the FA route then if able.

perhaps the reason they havent released Stephen yet is they want to use the tampering window to negotiate with his replacement and will release him when/if a deal is reached prior to FA starting?
