Of interest Jalen Waddle moving up to #6 overall and his second ranked WR.

Lowest I've seen Surtain, highest for Moehrig by a mile. Maybe two miles. He's also got my guy higher than anyone else. Sewell over Slater is a hill I'll die on.

I'm not a fashion guy by any means but for one's football draft picture.....should you be in suit and tie or football jersey?  It would be interesting if there was some long term study on attire and what it says about football skills or lack there of?

I'm with you on Sewell. No way he gets past Cincy at #5

Absolutely, my stone cold, 100% guaranteed lock. NFW.

Curious if DJ will change his mind on this one as we get closer. I've been trying to watch a lot of both to see why he's ranking Slater higher and while I LOVE Slater, to me it's like ranking Carmelo Anthony over LeBron James. Yeah, fantastic player, but one of them looks generational. Hell, he even LOOKS like Anthony Munoz. I've heard some say that DJ is overrating Slater's performance against Chase Young. Even if he's not, Slater might move inside. Sewell is a day one left tackle. There's a big difference in value just in that.

If the draft falls like this, it's a big argument for trading down and then back up. Paye, Phillips and Darrisaw all 5 to 12 slots down from 14. And Barmore and Nixon in the middle 2nd round.

Just looking at how this thing could play out before the Vikings pick, this would be my best guess right now:

1. Jags- Trevor Lawrence
2. Jets- Zach Wilson
3. Dolphins- Jamar Chase
4. Falcons- Justin Fields
5. Bengals- Penei Sewell
6. Eagles- Kyle Pitts
7. Lions- Devonta Smith
8. Panthers- Trey Lance
9. Broncos- Caleb Farley
10. Cowboys- Patrick Surtain
11. Giants- Jalen Waddle
12. 49ers- Micah Parsons
13. Chargers- Rashawn Slater

Although any Deshaun Watson trade throws this entire thing into flux

Yeah, I'm just not seeing it no matter how hard I squint. Sewell is a Day1 LT, shut the door, and pencil him in for the next decade.

Slater more than likely is not going to have the length to holdup outside, but I think he would be a helleuva LG in a zone or gap scheme.

Maybe DJ is an ex scout for a reason.

Oh yeah, smart guy? Well the mock draft that I did says otherwise and gave me Sewell to the Vikings at #14.

1. Jags- Trevor Lawrence-Lock
2. Jets- Zach Wilson-Likely, but not a lock
3. Dolphins- Jamar Chase-Help for Tua, unless they acquire Watson
4. Falcons- Justin Fields-If he makes it this far, will go no lower
5. Bengals- Penei Sewell-Lock, NFW he gets passed here.
6. Eagles- Kyle Pitts-GF is an Eagles and Gators fan. TV should be safe, but we'll watch at her place.
7. Lions- Devonta Smith-Which means he'll suck.
8. Panthers- Trey Lance-Tepper obsessed with landing a QB
9. Broncos- Caleb Farley-no strong opinion
10. Cowboys- Patrick Surtain-Ditto
11. Giants- Jalen Waddle-Gettleman likes the trenches too much
12. 49ers- Micah Parsons-Maybe Waddle here
13. Chargers- Rashawn Slater-Definitely need help

Although any Deshaun Watson trade throws this entire thing into flux
