J.J. WATTDL, UNSIGNED FREE AGENT[Image: 6469.jpg]
Texans released J.J. Watt. Watt in a video posted to Twitter Friday morning said he and the team "mutually agreed to part ways" after his release request. A first round pick in 2011, Watt became the face of the Texans franchise over a decade of underachieving Houston teams that were never real championship contenders. Watt, Pro Football Focus' seventh highest-graded edge defender in 2020, is sure to have multiple suitors in the coming months. The potential trade of Deshaun Watson from the dysfunctional franchise leaves the Texans in rebuild mode with few short-term prospects.

My early guess is he ends up in his home state. Which would suck for probably 8-10 games before he invariably gets injured.

yeah he seems to be hurt a lot.  And wow when was the last time we saw a franchise crash and burn like this?

In the last 5 years he's played 16 games twice. Three other years it was 3, 5, and 8. Buyer beware.

My guess Watt goes to Pittsburgh steelers.

They run a 3-4
His brother is there
And Watts play fits Pittsburgh  culture.

Salary Cap freeze til 2023 matters.

There's less cap funds available in UFA, I wanna see the offers Watt gets.

You know the Producers and Pre-Game guys for Fox and CBS are praying he goes to Pittsburgh so they can come up with dumb jokes like "The Steelers just tripled their Wattage" and then they all laugh hysterically amongst themselves while we continue to cringe.

I pretty much just put NFLN pregame on as background noise until kick-off. Just think boys and girls, pregame shows used to be 30 minutes with probably as much content as we get now in 4 hours.
