Given everything we've seen, if you expected a man like that to be honorable, you deserve everything you get. His own lawyer said it best: "For people like Jake, for millions of Americans, they truly did hang on every word of their president, our president, the person that we permitted day-in, day-out to speak to us in ways and in fashions that simply weren't true." I would add that OBVIOUSLY weren't true. 

It boggles the mind that any educated person believed him, supported him, indeed ADORED him. This phenomenon will be studied for centuries.

An attempted coup?  Yes, that’s exactly what happened. The goal was to stop the steal, to halt the election, prevent the transfer of power to Biden and keep Trump in power.  That’s exactly what fucking went down:  violent mob from one political faction tried to seize power.  The fact they were not successful doesn’t mean an attempt was not made.


You know what attempted robbery means right?  Because you busted into the bank and killed some people in the process but just because you couldn’t get into the safe doesn’t mean you didn’t try to steal shit.
