Hard to know what this means without knowing the 1st half numbers. I think, on the surface, the only thing it means is that we had a really bad defense, which we already knew. A bad defense allows a lot of 2nd half points. A bad defense also forces your offense to score a lot of late points.

To me it also indicates that our offense made some halftime adjustments and was more aggressive in the second half (and we may have been playing from behind), and that our defense did not make the necessary adjustments at halftime and in the second half to what the opponents offense was doing.  I put that on Zimmer/Patterson/Zimmer Jr.

Don't know for sure, but it seems like they were always playing from behind after the half, ergo Cousins had to sling it more in the second half - On the D side, no pass rush equates to time to throw....time to throw equates to better accuracy....better accuracy equates to sustained drives....sustained drives leads to points.

Fix the D Zimmer.
